Reflective Writing for Integration and the Inward Journey:

An Introduction to the Progoff Intensive Journal®Method

Join us for a powerful journey inward, using the Intensive Journal® Method—a transformative process developed by Dr. Ira Progoff. As the first American to complete his doctoral dissertation on the work of Carl Jung, Dr. Progoff was invited by Dr. Jung to study with him in Switzerland in the early 1950s.  Dr. Progoff’s work in Depth Psychology culminated in the Intensive Journal method.

What is the Intensive Journal® Method?

The Progoff Intensive Journal Method offers a structured approach to self-exploration using guided meditation, self-reflection, and imagery paired with powerful writing prompts. This is a dynamic, immersive process that helps you uncover patterns, connect with your inner voice, and discover a deeper sense of purpose.

Using holistic principles of Depth Psychology, Ira Progoff’s method guides you to:

  • Explore your life history and its recurring themes
  • Clarify your values, desires, and purpose
  •  Deepen your inner dialogue with your authentic Self
  •  Reconnect with your spiritual identity

This is an introductory session. No writing experience necessary. Your writing is for your eyes only. You have the option to read what you have written, but it is not at all necessary.
